Meron received an Associates degree in management from Jimma University in Ethiopia.She started a career in the banking industry where she served two years as a professional banker . She moved to the U.S. for a better opportunity that allowed her to pursue the profession she aspires most -nursing .

 

Meron always wanted to help people. She started a new career in the U.S. as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) at a Virginia based non-profit health organization for five years following her move to the US. She then completed her bachelor’s degree of science in nursing at Chamberlain University and has continued her career as a registered nurse (RN) for two years thus far. Her next educational endeavor is to obtain a masters degree in Public health management.

 

She has a passion for helping towards improving the lives of others beyond the requirements of her career. Outside of nursing, she takes part in various community service projects including Providing assistance to communities in need amidst the COVID pandemic. A primary mantra that she applies to her life is that success is a mutual effort constituted by collaboration and unity.
